Week 7 FCS Picks
10/19: UC Davis -2.5 @ Eastern Washington (O/U 61.5)
This one is interesting because you have a UC Davis team coming in with a 5-1 record but 3 of those 5 wins were by an average of 2 points. Last week they displayed they can win big against a poor Cal Poly team where they dominated on both sides of the ball. Eastern Washington is all about points. They average 33 points a game but have quite literally not played a decent defense so far this year. UCD will be that first test and I do not think they match up well.

10/19: Montana State -23.5 @ Portland State (O/U 64.5)
This is one of the easier picks of the week. Montana State blew out Idaho who is much better than the Vikings. One of the best teams in the country versus one of the worst teams in the country. PSU coming off of their first win I expect a major let down and Montana St to cover.

10/19: Idaho State @ Northern Arizona -11.5 (O/U 60) line has moved to -8.5
I believe this is so close solely because of the uncertainty at QB for the Lumberjacks. Ty Pennington will be back and they will win big. The NAU defense has been one of the best in the big sky. I expect them to get to the quarterback and disrupt the Bengal passing attack. NAUs 3 wins this season have a combined record of 2-17 so they need a statement win here against a program that has improved throughout the season. NAU will win and cover. Also how is NAU not gonna cover in the modern throwback lids…
